Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hamílton Moraes made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, DENVERLIGHTS's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Sá came free, but Miguel Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pranchita EC's Claudinei Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Paraense in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pranchita EC's Luís Guilherme Terra got a free kick in the 13th minute. Abel Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Neiva having to interfere. César Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Pranchita EC's goalkeeper Claudinei Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton Moraes. After a defensive mix-up in Pranchita EC's zone, César Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Neiva came out of the goal and César Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Claudinei Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredão de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Pranchita EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Alfredão de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pranchita EC's Luís Guilherme Terra got a free kick in the 40th minute. Claudinei Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamílton Moraes went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hamílton Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinei Neiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamílton Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Tande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. César Paraense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Neiva having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Moraes in the 52nd minute of play forced Pranchita EC's goalkeeper Claudinei Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Abel Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DENVERLIGHTS's Abel Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Tande in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, César Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. DENVERLIGHTS's supporters rose to their feet, but César Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Neiva having to interfere. Alfredão de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamílton Moraes scored 2-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinei Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If César Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hamílton Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abel Reis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the DENVERLIGHTS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Reis couldn't finish the play. Claudinei Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 played minutes DENVERLIGHTS got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Vander. 95 minutes into the match, Pranchita EC's Dráusio Mesquita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. There was no doubt that DENVERLIGHTS were the better team. DENVERLIGHTS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
