In the 9th minute Giovani Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DENVERLIGHTS's Miguel Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Cabral in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Hamílton Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when César Paraense made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, DENVERLIGHTS's goalkeeper Miguel Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Medeiros. Rubens Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Miguel Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Oswaldo Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Miguel Gerber made a huge save. César Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SEM RUMO ESPORTE CLUBE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SEM RUMO ESPORTE CLUBE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
