Collares's Alan Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Collares from getting a goal against them. Alan Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Norberto Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Corrêa in the 30th minute of play. Kléber Soares hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. PANELAO FC's Norberto Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Alcântara in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, PANELAO FC's Zé Carlos Teixeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Marques in the 44th minute of play forced Collares's goalkeeper Alan Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Carlos Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Alan Vander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Marques in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belmiro Alcântara to make the kick off. Belmiro Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Norberto Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PANELAO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Chiquinho Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PANELAO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Collares getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. César Arruda hit a great ball. When César Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Collares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Arruda couldn't finish the play.
