After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Osmar Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oloyalemong AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Bernardo Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hílton Fontes stood somewhat misplaced when Osmar Alves came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute.

The wind increased when Bernardo Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Hílton Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot.
