Spectators: 6645 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Catarinense kicked off to start the match. Murillo Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 played minutes Susto got a freekick which was hit by Fred Cruz. Basílio Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jardel de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubineia AD. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Rodrigues in the 13th minute of play forced Susto's goalkeeper Jardel de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Rodrigues in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel de Carvalho saved Susto from getting behind. Basílio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Catarinense in the 27th minute of play forced Rubineia AD's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Guimarães having to interfere. If Arlindo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Rodrigues in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel de Carvalho saved Susto from getting behind. When Betinho Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Susto's protests and gave Betinho Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Betinho Rodrigues hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Murillo Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 51 minutes Rubineia AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldinho Neves who took care of the corner kick. In the 53rd minute Susto were awarded a corner. Osvaldinho Neves went to the cornerflag to take it. João Pedro Paraibano made a great header on Susto's corner, it was just that Rubineia AD's Pedrinho Guimarães managed to reach the ball for a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Murillo Rodrigues did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jardel de Carvalho 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Raí Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jardel de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Susto's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Rodrigues came free, but Jardel de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Basílio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubineia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrinho Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Arlindo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Susto's Betinho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Basílio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murillo Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel de Carvalho having to make a save. Rubineia AD's Basílio Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Susto's goalkeeper Jardel de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Rodrigues. Raí Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubineia AD's Basílio Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Rubineia AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Susto throughout the match.
