A wasted opportunity for Valente SC. 35 minutes into the match, Sandro Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Umberto Bertassi. Conta Inativa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Emanuel Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Fonseca in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Geovanni Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conta Inativa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valente SC the free kick. Geovanni Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fernandinho Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Berger in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The referee ignored Conta Inativa's protests and gave Nestor de Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valente SC booed when Conta Inativa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conta Inativa's Umberto Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Conta Inativa from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Umberto Bertassi made a huge save. In the 65th minute, one of Conta Inativa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conta Inativa. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Valente SC. Zeca Gonçalves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Umberto Bertassi. 1-3. In the 74thth minute of the game Sandro Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conta Inativa's Umberto Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Fonseca in the 77th minute of play forced Conta Inativa's goalkeeper Umberto Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Sandro Fonseca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Umberto Bertassi, passed just outside the right post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Amaral couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Sandro Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valente SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Emanuel Berger made a precise shot to the right of Umberto Bertassi. Conta Inativa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Valente SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Conta Inativa.
