Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Neagoe kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Yan Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobatense EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aílton Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 minutes, Edgard Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobatense EC and the Traicao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elano Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luiz Rocha having to make a save. Traicao's Aílton Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Neagoe in the 9th minute of play. Benedito Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Aílton Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobatense EC. Igor Linhares charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Linhares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Traicao getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Igor Linhares hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando de Lima in the 18th minute of play forced Lobatense EC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Armando de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traicao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Yan Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Luiz Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elano Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Traicao's zone, Yan Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Custódio came out of the goal and Yan Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pedro Luiz Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Rocha made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Armando de Lima sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Bebeto Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Fernando Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Traicao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Cearense couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Lobatense EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Traicao:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando de Lima to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cauan de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luiz Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Elano Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lobatense EC's Paul Neagoe got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Lobatense EC's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Peixoto came free, but Pedro Luiz Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Rocha having to interfere. The supporters of Traicao booed when Lobatense EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luiz Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Traicao's Armando de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Paul Neagoe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobatense EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Traicao the free kick. In the 85th minute, Armando de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luiz Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Peixoto in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 minutes Lobatense EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernando Cearense who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Luiz Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Traicao were victorious despite being under pressure from Lobatense EC for much of the match.
