Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juvenal de Moraes started the match with the kick off. Inácio França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Soares went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kauan Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Pimenta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Garotos da Base's Juvenal de Moraes got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 played minutes Ipua got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Paiva. Ipua's Vítor Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal de Moraes in the 16th minute of play. Vítor Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Paes in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juvenal de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Vieira was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Pedrão Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio França came out of the goal and João Vítor Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Ramón Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Inácio França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinei Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Horácio Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Inácio França. Garotos da Base's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Natanael Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ipua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Fernandes couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Garotos da Base's zone, Pedrão Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio França came out of the goal and Pedrão Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Luís Fábio Paiva put in a rough tackle. After some careless play in the Garotos da Base defense, Natanael Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio França. The Garotos da Base fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio França should have stopped the shot. Juvenal de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juvenal de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Claudinei Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio França having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Ipua's Horácio Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Pedrão Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Inácio França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Marquez in the 87th minute of play. Pedrão Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inácio França having to make a save. Ipua walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
