Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Paulo Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Vianopolis booed when Itaum AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Vianopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Laerte Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Laerte Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho Lopez's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Laerte Almeida came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Vianopolis's Adrianinho Lopez. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Fonseca in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrianinho Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Laerte Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Vianopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Andrade came free, but Jorginho Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, João Paulo Branco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorginho Sampaio. The goal made the score 1-1. Jorginho Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Diego Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Jorginho Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Adrianinho Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vianopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Lopez couldn't finish the play. Adrianinho Lopez might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laerte Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrianinho Lopez ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Itaum AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vito da Silva came free, but Laerte Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vito da Silva hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Itaum AD's Laerte Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Lopez in the 63rd minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, João Paulo Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Sampaio. Vianopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Paulo Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Vito da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiaguinho Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laerte Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vianopolis getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arnaldo Fonseca hit a great ball. Jorginho Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Paulo Branco's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Emerson Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Itaum AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Emerson Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. João Paulo Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laerte Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Vianopolis failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
