Juarês Alagoano's late challenge caught a Aracas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juarês Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guama SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Aracas FC. Dionísio Mumbach stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luisão de Godoi. 0-5. Guama SC's Davi Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Davi Dante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Aracas FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Dante made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Guama SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionísio Mumbach came free, but Luisão de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Luisão de Godoi made a huge save. Dionísio Mumbach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luisão de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Dionísio Mumbach slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 60th minute. Dionísio Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Luisão de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Dionísio Mumbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guama SC's Luisão de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Guama SC booed when Aracas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão de Godoi came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Aracas FC's Roberto Leme. But to his dismay, Roberto Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Aracas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
