The wind increased when Caetano Pernambucano made the kick off in the second half. Paulinho Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Marinho in the 54th minute of the match. Caetano Pernambucano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Fernando Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Pernambucano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Caetano Pernambucano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Preta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
