Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albertinho de Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Fructuoso AD's Albertinho de Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Raimundo Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Lunt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cumary's Enio Lara got a free kick in the 17th minute. Albertinho de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pierre Lunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Ortiz in the 29th minute of play. If Tarcisio Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Cumary got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Arruda. After 42 played minutes, Fructuoso AD's Pedrão Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fructuoso AD reached it. Enio Lara hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pierre Lunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Fructuoso AD got a freekick which was hit by Sabino dos Santos. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Albertinho de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Vieira made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Américo Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Júlio Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho de Carvalho in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Albertinho de Carvalho lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Júlio Vieira. In the 68th minute, Albertinho de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Fructuoso AD's Albertinho de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Américo Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho de Carvalho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Vieira came out and tried to block the shot, but Albertinho de Carvalho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 73rd minute. Cumary's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albertinho de Carvalho 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Fructuoso AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
