Evandro de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Quaresma FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Barreto. 16 minutes into the match, Sapezal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Paes came free, but Evandro de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sapezal FC's Fernando Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilton Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute Nilton Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Nilton Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evandro de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Paes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evandro de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st match minute, Sapezal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Nilton Paes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evandro de Azevedo. Nilton Paes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. A collision led to Sapezal FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Perez hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Nilton Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Sapezal FC's Evandro de Azevedo got control of the ball when Abel Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quaresma FC played a much better game than Sapezal FC and deserved their victory. The Sapezal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
