The supporters of Germany booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mao Shu Gang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. If Gustaf Svanér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Corneliu Văcăroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faustão Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Alexandria Team08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Abraão couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria Team08 from getting a goal against them. Basarab Panciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. In the 59th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Kılıç Özyuva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 66 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Abraão. 69 minutes into the match, Zhou notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Maxim Constantinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 77 minutes into the game, Faustão Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhou took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When Alexandria Team08's Zhou in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. If Zhou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Alexandria Team08 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
