When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Ibirataia FC's Albertinho da Silva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elói Bittencourt. In the 31st minute, Armandinho Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Capipi SS's Elói Bittencourt got control of the ball when Armandinho Paraense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaká Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Donato Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Bastiaan Dijkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armandinho Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Armandinho Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Penha scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elói Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaan Dijkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Ibirataia FC's Armandinho Paraense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibirataia FC's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Meira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Penha in the 66th minute. Capipi SS's Elói Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Catarinense in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Ibirataia FC's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Sousa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Penha got free with Pedro Augusto Meira in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capipi SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ibirataia FC.
