Samuca Sabóia's late challenge caught a TRI DO MORUMBI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Samuca Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reinaldo Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. Reinaldo Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Andrade's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
