In the 9th match minute, TRI DO MORUMBI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Cearense to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Hélio Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Massa succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Emerson Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osmar Massa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sidney Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Dante in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Amaniutuba getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Chicão Favoretto hit a great ball. Amaniutuba's Emerson Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Amaniutuba from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from Osmar Massa in the 39thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Emerson Albuquerque had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 41 minutes of play, TRI DO MORUMBI's Osmar Massa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Albuquerque was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chicão Favoretto was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emerson Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Andrade in the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Mota made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osmar Massa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidney Amaral made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Flavinho Mota sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Luís Gustavo Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TRI DO MORUMBI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. José Vítor Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Albuquerque having to interfere. Emerson Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amaniutuba's Emerson Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Massa in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Massa in the 79th minute of play forced Amaniutuba's goalkeeper Emerson Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Andrade in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Luís Gustavo Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Baptista hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Osmar Massa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amaniutuba's Emerson Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emerson Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Andrade in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the TRI DO MORUMBI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
