Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruy Britto started the match with the kick off. Reinaldo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Schmidt in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruy Britto in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Baptista's late challenge caught a Bola Na Rede FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Amaniutuba's Emanuel Baptista got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Britto in the 12th minute of play forced Amaniutuba's goalkeeper Emerson Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bola Na Rede FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Linares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emerson Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Válbson Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Amaniutuba's Emerson Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Britto in the 26th minute of play. Emerson Albuquerque stood somewhat misplaced when Ruy Britto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Válbson Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Albuquerque having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto Schmidt to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Flavinho Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Amaniutuba's Emanuel Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emerson Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Bola Na Rede FC's Ruy Britto. But to his dismay, Ruy Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Válbson Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emerson Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bola Na Rede FC's Reinaldo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Schmidt in the 79th minute of play. If Carlos Augusto Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bola Na Rede FC's zone, Carlos Augusto Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Linares came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bola Na Rede FC's Ruy Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Válbson Pitta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Albuquerque was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Amaniutuba got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Baptista. Emerson Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Bola Na Rede FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
