After 3 minutes, Hudson de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poá Virtual Clube and the Sport Club Roraima players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute Faustin Helou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Poá Virtual Clube getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Fabinho de Amorim hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Roraima's Faustin Helou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeca Cordeiro. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Luiz Guilherme Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Faustin Helou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Roraima's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustin Helou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeca Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugênio Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Poá Virtual Clube's Zeca Cordeiro got control of the ball when Eugênio Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugênio Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Cordeiro having to interfere. Abelardo Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zeca Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustin Helou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Cordeiro having to interfere. Poá Virtual Clube's Zeca Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Poá Virtual Clube from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio Cerezo to make the kick off. Eugênio Cerezo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeca Cordeiro having to make a save. Eugênio Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zeca Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Eugênio Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeca Cordeiro. Poá Virtual Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugênio Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Faustin Helou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zeca Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Poá Virtual Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Cerezo came free, but Zeca Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Sport Club Roraima's Faustin Helou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luiz Guilherme Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Silvinho Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Madeo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With his leg Silvinho Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Poá Virtual Clube's Luiz Guilherme Mello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Faustin Helou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Roraima's Faustin Helou. But to his dismay, Faustin Helou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Faustin Helou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Sport Club Roraima players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
