Sebastian Szel hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Luizão Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estremoz SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Javier Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio de Azevedo in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Guaxinduva SS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elias Borges hit a great ball. Guaxinduva SS's Javier Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Donato in the 26th minute of play. Umberto Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Izel having to interfere. Javier Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Sena in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Sebastian Szel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaxinduva SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Szel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luizão Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Izel having to interfere. Javier Izel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Umberto Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Szel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Izel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Sena in the 53rd minute. Luizão Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Szel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Vergílio came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaxinduva SS's Elias Borges. But to his dismay, Elias Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Reginaldo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Terra in the 67th minute of the match. Délio de Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Délio de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Délio de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Izel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Luizão Sena sent off a good shot on target. Guaxinduva SS's Javier Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Donato in the 71st minute of play. Délio de Azevedo got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Estremoz SS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Délio de Azevedo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Terra in the 78th minute of play forced Estremoz SS's goalkeeper Reginaldo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Sebastian Szel made a precise shot to the right of Reginaldo Vergílio. Estremoz SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Luizão Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Javier Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Izel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizão Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 minutes, Luizão Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estremoz SS and the Guaxinduva SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Estremoz SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Sena to maneuver through the defense.
