Roger Albuquerque started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Umberto Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarandy FC's Leonardo Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Donato came free, but Leonardo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estremoz SS's Luizão Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umberto Donato struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Leonardo Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estremoz SS. Luizão Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Penha having to interfere. Leonardo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Leonardo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Leonardo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Sena in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Umberto Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Penha. Sarandy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Sena in the 41st minute of play forced Sarandy FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estremoz SS's Anselmo Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Donato made a kick off. Reginaldo Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leonardo Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarandy FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Pedrinho do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reginaldo Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Anselmo Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estremoz SS's protests and gave Anselmo Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sarandy FC's zone, Luizão Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Penha came out of the goal and Luizão Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Umberto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estremoz SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Leonardo Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Donato's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Sarandy FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jonathan Meirelles hit a great ball. Estremoz SS's Umberto Donato managed to work through Sarandy FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Umberto Donato dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the final whistle sounded Estremoz SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sarandy FC.
