Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinei Macedo started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Jaguarasinho's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Dias came free, but Hélder Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaguarasinho's Hélder Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Dias in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maurinho da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavinho de Mendonça was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Claudinei Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Maurinho da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Vento Aragano F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maurinho da Rocha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maurinho da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes of play, Jaguarasinho's Bernardinho Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Jaguarasinho defense, Cícero Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Diniz. The Jaguarasinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Diniz should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Maurinho da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudinei Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vento Aragano F.C's goalkeeper Flavinho de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jaguarasinho's Maurinho da Rocha fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Bernardinho Viana came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Jaguarasinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Viana couldn't finish the play.

After 51 minutes, Cássio Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vento Aragano F.C and the Jaguarasinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Vento Aragano F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Nascimento. Flavinho de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho da Rocha in the 54th minute of play. Claudinei Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Diniz having to interfere. Bernardinho Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vento Aragano F.C's Breno Tavares got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bernardinho Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguarasinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Vento Aragano F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Viana came free, but Flavinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Tavares hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bernardinho Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho de Mendonça having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Vento Aragano F.C got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Teles. 98 minutes into the match, Vento Aragano F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho da Rocha came free, but Flavinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Jaguarasinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
