After 11 played minutes Varginha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Rodrigues. The audience was convinced that Noel Hames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Veloso was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Varginha F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Hoffmann came free, but Bebeto de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Christian Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, JuniorLord FC's Valdo Gonçalves made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bebeto de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Varginha F.C.'s Tomé Braga got a free kick in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, JuniorLord FC's Pedro Linhares got a free kick in the 51st minute. Varginha F.C.'s Noel Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Penha in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, JuniorLord FC's Leandro Cordeiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Varginha F.C.'s Noel Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68thth minute of the game Oscar Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JuniorLord FC's Christian Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Valdo Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto de Queirós was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Valdo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto de Queirós having to interfere. A collision led to Varginha F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tomé Braga hit a great ball. The supporters of Varginha F.C. booed when JuniorLord FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Penha struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Christian Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varginha F.C.. Oscar Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Christian Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Noel Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. JuniorLord FC had won after a very even match.
