Zé Augusto Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Augusto Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chapecoense's Zé Augusto Santos got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Zé Augusto Santos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Wágner Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus de Lara in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes, Dênis Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Vicente FC and the Chapecoense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chapecoense booed when São Vicente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Mesquita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Germano Melo. A hard shot 44 in the game by Wágner Carioca from a close distance when the talented Dráuzio Mesquita managed to make a qualified save. São Vicente FC's players were relieved. The wind increased when Wágner Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Romário Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateus de Lara's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Rafael Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Romário Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus de Lara went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
