João Paulo Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrício Jacinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Paulo Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda da Costa in the 31st minute of play forced CHAPECÓ FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, CHAPECÓ FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo do Vale. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Andrade in the 42nd minute of play forced CHAPECÓ FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Eurico Andrade fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 46th minute, Jhonnie Walker FC's Nicolas Rosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabrício Jacinto. Fabrício Jacinto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.

The wind increased when Dino Velasco made the kick off in the second half. CHAPECÓ FC's Fabrício Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. If Eurico Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Eurico Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jhonnie Walker FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Eurico Andrade scored 5-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes Jhonnie Walker FC got a freekick which was hit by Duda da Costa. Fabrício Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. CHAPECÓ FC's Fabrício Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda da Costa in the 92nd minute of play. Fabrício Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Andrade in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jhonnie Walker FC had played much better football throughout.
