Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Alvaro's Nuno Toscano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Tafu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Viana to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Victor Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enio Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Tafu defense, Nuno Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Queiroz. The Tafu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Queiroz should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Alvaro's Magno Pires got control of the ball when Elivélton Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tafu's Aílton Cardozo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tafu's Enio Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Toscano in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Nuno Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tafu's Enio Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Moraes in the 23rd minute of play. Enio Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dirk Sijmonds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Favoretto hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Vânderson Saldanha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enio Queiroz. Tafu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 39 played minutes, Tafu's Nando Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Magno Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tafu reached it. Enio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Toscano in the 41st minute of the match. Júlio Pena hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Nuno Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jeremias Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enio Queiroz. Tafu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Patryk Olender made the kick off in the second half. Patrick Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Tafu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alvaro's Patrick Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Toscano in the 69th minute of play forced Tafu's goalkeeper Enio Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Tafu's Júlio Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magno Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jeremias Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Queiroz having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Jeremias Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Olender in the 83rd minute of play forced Alvaro's goalkeeper Magno Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tafu's Enio Queiroz got control of the ball when Jeremias Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alvaro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victor Galvão hit a great ball. Magno Pires came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tafu's Dirk Sijmonds. But to his dismay, Dirk Sijmonds quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alvaro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tafu.
