Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jimeno Dolfo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Alvaro's Nuno Toscano got a free kick in the 7th minute. Eden Hazard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Magno Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eden Hazard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Vânderson Saldanha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Potiri's Bengt-Åke Kihlman got control of the ball when Jeremias Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Potiri booed when Alvaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Alvaro's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Dolfo came free, but Magno Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nuno Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Kihlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Potiri's Bengt-Åke Kihlman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Potiri from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Toscano to make the kick off. Bengt-Åke Kihlman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Toscano went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Moraes in the 62nd minute of play forced Potiri's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potiri's Eden Hazard got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Kihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Moraes in the 66th minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jeremias Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bengt-Åke Kihlman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Many of Potiri's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Potiri may have spent more time on the ball, but Alvaro were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
