Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Lino da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szymon Kajdasz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luiz Pena saved Associação de Terra Boa from getting behind. Oséias de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Eduardo Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Associação de Terra Boa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajazeiras the free kick. After 10 played minutes Associação de Terra Boa got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Lira. Cajazeiras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino da Mata in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Norberto Leme put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gerson Paraíba. André Luiz Pena came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cajazeiras's Valdemar Aguiar. But to his dismay, Valdemar Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Aguiar in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luiz Pena saved Associação de Terra Boa from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luiz Pena was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Osvaldo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. André Luiz Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válbson Vander hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Valdemar Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cajazeiras's Valdemar Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Cajazeiras were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Associação de Terra Boa's André Luiz Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Associação de Terra Boa from getting a goal against them. Celsinho de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Pena having to interfere. Celsinho de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. André Luiz Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cajazeiras's Osvaldo Quintal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willian Galvão, made in the 69th minute of the game. Associação de Terra Boa's André Luiz Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Quintal in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Associação de Terra Boa's zone, Celsinho de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Pena came out of the goal and Celsinho de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Associação de Terra Boa defense, Valdemar Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Luiz Pena. The Associação de Terra Boa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Luiz Pena should have stopped the shot. Valdemar Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. André Luiz Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajazeiras. After a defensive mix-up in Associação de Terra Boa's zone, Valdemar Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Pena came out of the goal and Valdemar Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Aguiar in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Celsinho de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, André Luiz Pena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded Cajazeiras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Associação de Terra Boa.
