Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chumbado SS's Dinei Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Dinei Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dedé Lucas fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castelandia FC's protests and gave Dedé Lucas a yellow card for diving instead. 8 minutes into the match, Chumbado SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Domingues came free, but Betinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cauan Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Betinho Vander made a huge save. Robinho Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robinho Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Castelandia FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tomé Domingues hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Dinei Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge de Andrade was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Jorge de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Zézinho de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelandia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Betinho Vander made a huge save. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Lucas in the 24th minute of play. Betinho Vander made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ivo Lima sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, André Camargo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chumbado SS's Franklin de Souza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Castelandia FC's Tomé Domingues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betinho Vander. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. After 39 minutes of play, Castelandia FC's Ivo Lima made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betinho Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Betinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Betinho Vander didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Domingues made a kick off. Betinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Domingues in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Conrado Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelandia FC and the Chumbado SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute Ivo Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Vander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Lucas went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Castelandia FC's Elias Félix got control of the ball when Robinho Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Betinho Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Domingues in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Camargo in the 65th minute of play forced Chumbado SS's goalkeeper Betinho Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Lima in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Flavinho Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelandia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chumbado SS the free kick. Betão Lira shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 77 minutes into the game, Dedé Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Betinho Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Betinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Lucas in the 84th minute of play. Franklin de Souza hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Zézinho de Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betinho Vander. Chumbado SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chumbado SS's Betinho Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Lucas in the 88th minute of play. Zézinho de Sousa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Tomé Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Betinho Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Betinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Chumbado SS's Robinho Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Castelandia FC were the better team. Castelandia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
