Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raí Faria started the match with the kick off. Perivaldo de Senna scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Valadares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Arí Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Valadares. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Valadares should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Perivaldo de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Osmar Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barrenta SC's Oséas Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, CamboriúSC's Oséas Pontes got control of the ball when Oséas Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arí Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Oséas Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26th minute, Oséas Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osmar Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perivaldo de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osmar Valadares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Gino Dracena hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Raí Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perivaldo de Senna was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes CamboriúSC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Lopez. Ronaldo Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oséas Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. Jailson Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Oséas Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Barrenta SC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Barrenta SC's Raí Faria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oséas Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Faria in the 63rd minute of the match. Osmar Valadares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Carioca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. Acácio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Oséas Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséas Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséas Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CamboriúSC's zone, Acácio Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Pontes came out of the goal and Acácio Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Faria in the 86th minute of play forced CamboriúSC's goalkeeper Oséas Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrenta SC's Raí Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when CamboriúSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Osmar Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Barrenta SC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CamboriúSC to win.
