In the 14th minute, Christian Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes in the game, Agnaldo Amorim fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonas Prado having to interfere. The long shot by Chiquinho Botelho in the 19th minute really tested Jonas Prado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Agnaldo Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Prado came out and tried to block the shot, but Agnaldo Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Jonas Prado made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Felippe Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Patrício Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ian Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felippe Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonas Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, Manoel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Agnaldo Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by sorriso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inácio Correia was slow to take the kick. During this time Umaita's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Gaspar in the 68th minute of play forced sorriso's goalkeeper Jonas Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Umaita's Felippe Gaspar made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Umaita booed when sorriso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ian Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Schmidt in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Patrício Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrício Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Antunes having to interfere. Ian Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrício Arósio in the 84th minute. The supporters of sorriso booed when Umaita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see sorriso's Leandro Figueiredo in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 89th minute, Ediberto Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Agnaldo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umaita's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Umaita fully deserved thier win.
