Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Vítor Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. S.C. Pavilhao 9's Luciano Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Pavilhao 9 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sombreiro SS booed when S.C. Pavilhao 9 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Marcus Vides rounded S.C. Pavilhao 9's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Sombreiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Almeida came free, but Amílton Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Nunes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sombreiro SS's Frederico Velasco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kaká Recife took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Sanches. S.C. Pavilhao 9's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nestor Zonta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luciano Sanches firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Nestor Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes in the game, Marcus Vides fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luciano Sanches having to interfere. Luciano Sanches made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nestor Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Basílio Melo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor Zonta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Sanches. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Vides in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, S.C. Pavilhao 9's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Vides came free, but Luciano Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Nestor Zonta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of S.C. Pavilhao 9's Luciano Sanches. Luciano Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Sanches having to make a save. Luciano Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Vides's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Zonta in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sanches saved S.C. Pavilhao 9 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Marcus Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sombreiro SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes S.C. Pavilhao 9's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was César Netto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in César Netto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.C. Pavilhao 9's Luciano Sanches did a great save. Nestor Zonta scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77 played minutes Sombreiro SS got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Sarmento. In the 79th minute, Felippe Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Velasco's late challenge caught a S.C. Pavilhao 9's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Sombreiro SS got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Velasco. Amílton Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcus Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Zonta in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Marcus Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Sanches. S.C. Pavilhao 9's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C. Pavilhao 9 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sombreiro SS.
