Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Galo Force FC's Rodrigo Vergílio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cleiton Corrêa's late challenge caught a Galo Force FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleiton Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Caucaia got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Corrêa. Gerson Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Galo Force FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Silva. In the 7th minute, Rodrigo Vergílio made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Brito. Caucaia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, Galo Force FC's Rodrigo Vergílio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nildo Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington de Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Tadeu de Souza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nildo Brito came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo Force FC's Rodrigo Vergílio. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rodrigo Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Brito having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gualter Zilles put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nildo Brito. Célio Berger took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeu de Souza. Tadeu de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 35th play minute Washington de Medeiros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tadeu de Souza. 3-4. In the 38th minute Fred Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Galo Force FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Simão Queirós hit a great ball. If Washington de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruninho Félix hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Caucaia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galo Force FC were winning 3-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Paraíba to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nildo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Caucaia's Fred Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeu de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. 82 minutes into the match, Galo Force FC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Berger came free, but Tadeu de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Washington de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes of play, Caucaia's Fred Paraíba made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeu de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Paraíba in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Caucaia's Nildo Brito got control of the ball when Rodrigo Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caucaia had won after a very even match.
