The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shao Zhen Song received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marcelinho Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shao Zhen Song took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Nogueira. Marcelinho Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Shao Zhen Song recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maricá FC's Pedro Luiz Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shao Zhen Song's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Beco FC's Marcelinho Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Zhen Song in the 52nd minute of play. Marcelinho Nogueira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Maricá FC's Pedro Luiz Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 57th minute Shao Zhen Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shao Zhen Song couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Shao Zhen Song ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Manoel Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maricá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beco FC's Raphael Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelinho Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Zhen Song, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maricá FC fully deserved thier win.
