Rosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QUÉOTA the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Rosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Pombal to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Paulo Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Toninho Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes QUÉOTA got a freekick which was hit by Hernani de Brito. If Paulo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Rosa's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani de Brito came free, but Durvalino Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Santana to make the kick off. Benedito de Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedito de Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. In the 66th minute Paulo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo Santana came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Santana couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Nildo Travassos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafinha Carneiro. The goal made the score 1-2. After a rather tough play, Rosa's Bernardinho Cordeiro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 76 minutes of play Rosa's Tarcisio Pombal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tarcisio Pombal hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Natanael Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durvalino Bezerra. Rosa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, QUÉOTA's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Travassos came free, but Rafinha Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosa's Paulo Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafinha Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Santana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. Baltazar Gonçalves hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Rosa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than QUÉOTA.
