Rafinha Carneiro came out of the goal and André Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Andrade got free with Rafinha Carneiro in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Carneiro having to interfere. The supporters of Ideal booed when QUÉOTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrinho Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Carneiro having to interfere. QUÉOTA's Rafinha Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save QUÉOTA from getting a goal against them. André Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes QUÉOTA got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Castro. In the 28thth minute of the game André Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QUÉOTA's Rafinha Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafinha Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, QUÉOTA's Hernani de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernani do Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Ideal's Rafinha Carneiro threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Mangueira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. André Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernani do Nascimento having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Ernani do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson das Neves in the 59th minute of play. If Vinícius Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Mangueira in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that André Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Carneiro was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. André Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani do Nascimento having to interfere.
