Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) New York City F.C.'s Tales Valadares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Anselmo Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the LORDS WOLVES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Montenegro couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Arlindo Tróia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to New York City F.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Elano Reis hit a great ball. If Arlindo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Paraense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Eduardo Matorin having to make a save. A nice corner shot did that Guilherme Paraense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Eduardo Matorin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 23 played minutes New York City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elano Reis. Reinaldo Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Arlindo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson Marques hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Reis in the 36th minute of play forced LORDS WOLVES FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Robinho Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinaldo Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Eduardo Matorin. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Eduardo Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A wasted opportunity for LORDS WOLVES FC. LORDS WOLVES FC's Reinaldo Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Valadares in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Paraense in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cícero de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Eduardo Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Paraense's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Valadares in the 72nd minute of play forced LORDS WOLVES FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Guilherme Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the LORDS WOLVES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Paraense couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Arlindo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LORDS WOLVES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guilherme Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The LORDS WOLVES FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when LORDS WOLVES FC's Guilherme Paraense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jailson Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Eduardo Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Amauri Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for LORDS WOLVES FC. Carlos Eduardo Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Paraense in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LORDS WOLVES FC fully deserved thier win.
