The supporters of Calumbi AD booed when LORDS WOLVES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Cruz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arlindo Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Tostão Cruz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edvaldo Corrêa. Jailson Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cruz having to interfere. Edmundo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With 30 minutes on the clock, Jailson Marques commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 31st minute, Jailson Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Nóbrega in the 32nd minute of play forced LORDS WOLVES FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Montenegro was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Calumbi AD got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Lima. Guilherme Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tostão Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Penha in the 58th minute of play forced LORDS WOLVES FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Abelardo Arruda suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 59 minutes into the game, Robinho Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LORDS WOLVES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calumbi AD the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Seco got free with Reinaldo Coutinho in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Coutinho having to interfere. Reinaldo Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digo de Carvalho in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LORDS WOLVES FC's Guilherme Paraense got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Calumbi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Digo de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Digo de Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinaldo Coutinho. That made the score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. If Guilherme Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Calumbi AD's Claudinei Seco got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Guilherme Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tostão Cruz. Calumbi AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Guilherme Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anselmo Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the LORDS WOLVES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Montenegro couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Calumbi AD's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Montenegro came free, but Tostão Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LORDS WOLVES FC's Arlindo Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guilherme Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Calumbi AD's Betinho Penha got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
