Zé Roberto Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 played minutes Capoeirao got a freekick which was hit by Germano Maranhense. Abelardo de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luciano Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, marselle f.c's goalkeeper Luciano Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Ferreira. In the 28th play minute Adrianinho Ferreira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luciano Mazza. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Macedo in the 37th minute of play forced Capoeirao's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Eger having to interfere. The tension between the Capoeirao and the marselle f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card.
