The audience was convinced that Sandro Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Eger was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Guillermo Radaban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alessandro Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. José Paulo Pinho lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Felippe Valadares hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Netto in the 39th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sydney Pena made the kick off in the second half. Sandro Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zé Roberto Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Sydney Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Radaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Sandro Netto sped through Capoeirao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Eger. When Sandro Netto came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vicentopolis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Netto couldn't finish the play. If Sandro Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto Eger came out of the goal and Elano Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Roberto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Netto in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Capoeirao's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme de Queirós came free, but Zé Roberto Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Capoeirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Pena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Netto in the 82nd minute of play forced Capoeirao's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Eger came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vicentopolis FC's Sandro Netto. But to his dismay, Sandro Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Luiz Guilherme de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Sandro Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicentopolis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Guilherme de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
