Claudinei Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 74 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipanema SS the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Guimarães couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Noel Ribeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chane's Claudinei Valadares didn't even have to move. Igor Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Azevedo having to interfere. Guga de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias de Alcântara in the 98th minute of the match. Ipanema SS played a much better game than Chane and deserved their victory. The Chane players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
