José Carlos Loureiro came out of the goal and Ismael de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When TMG Futebol Clube's Severino Couto in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central FC's goalie prevented a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro de Carvalho came free, but Samuel Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Loureiro having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Zé Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Frédson Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TMG Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Germano Vargas hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Jeferson Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's Santo Sazon shot a high long ball. TMG Futebol Clube's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. Delfim de Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Carlos Loureiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Tartalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 33 played minutes TMG Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Netto. Samuel Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Delfim de Godoy took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for José Carlos Loureiro to make any attempt to save it. After 40 played minutes TMG Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro de Carvalho. In the 42nd minute, Severino Couto made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Cerezo. Rosario Central FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Tartalo was the one to do the kick off. Frédson Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Cerezo having to interfere. Severino Couto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Couto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 56th minute. Severino Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Samuel Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, TMG Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Paraibano came free, but José Carlos Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Cerezo was a little too slow when José Pedro de Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Couto got free with Samuel Cerezo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of TMG Futebol Clube booed when Rosario Central FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Frédson Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Cerezo, 3-4. Samuel Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Couto in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, TMG Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Paraibano came free, but José Carlos Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim de Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Loureiro having to make a save. Roman Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TMG Futebol Clube succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rosario Central FC had controlled the match.
