Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Sílvio Luís Paraibano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Couto came free, but Samuel Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Samuel Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Vargas. After 12 minutes, Germano Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TMG Futebol Clube and the Rosario Central FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, Delfim de Godoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. José Carlos Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the game, TMG Futebol Clube's Severino Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. José Carlos Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Tartalo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Severino Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. José Carlos Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim de Godoy in the 26th minute of play. Samuel Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Germano Vargas sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the TMG Futebol Clube defense, Roman Tartalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Loureiro. The TMG Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Loureiro should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Delfim de Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Severino Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Vargas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Cerezo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 42nd minute of the match, Severino Couto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuel Cerezo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Rosario Central FC booed when TMG Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Zé Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Tartalo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Tartalo to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Delfim de Godoy rounded TMG Futebol Clube's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Roman Tartalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but José Carlos Loureiro made a huge save. If Ismael de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Neves in the 61st minute of play. Rosario Central FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after TMG Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santo Sazon took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Santo Sazon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Carlos Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 66 minutes of play, Rosario Central FC's Roman Tartalo made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carlos Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roman Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Loureiro having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Severino Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. If Roman Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Rosario Central FC's José Carlos Loureiro threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delfim de Godoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Frédson Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Couto in the 91st minute of the match. Roman Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Loureiro having to interfere. Samuel Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Couto in the 96th minute of play. Rosario Central FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
