Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Walmyr Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Tróia in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes Derrubadinha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toninho Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Tauna's corner Toninho Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walmyr Peixoto quite easily take care of the ball. Tauna were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Derrubadinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Toninho Capixaba took the corner. In the 9th minute Andrézinho Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleiton de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Derrubadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton de Almeida came free, but Walmyr Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Michel Fantini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Negri. Michel Fantini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Waldir Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Derrubadinha got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto de Godoi. In the 32nd minute Cleiton de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Derrubadinha got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Dante. Tauna's Cleiton de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmyr Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrézinho Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Walmyr Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Andrézinho Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Walmyr Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tauna getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Andrézinho de Lima hit a great ball. Bebeto de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Geovanni Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Andrézinho Tróia made the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Derrubadinha got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Silva. In the 60th minute, Andrézinho Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Peixoto. Derrubadinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cleiton de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Walmyr Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton de Almeida scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmyr Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Tauna got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho de Lima. 84 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Walmyr Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinei Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Andrézinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauna's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tauna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
