Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Luís Fabiano Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tauna's protests and gave Luís Fabiano Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tauna getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Meirelles hit a great ball. Tauna's Cleiton de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derrubadinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Andrézinho Tróia scored to the left of an out of position Walmyr Peixoto, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tauna's Andrézinho de Lima got a free kick in the 15th minute. Michel Fantini hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, Derrubadinha's Bebeto de Godoi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Andrézinho Tróia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 29 minutes into the game, one of Derrubadinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Geovanni Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Godoi in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Andrézinho Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauna's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bebeto de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Negri having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Tauna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Derrubadinha's Ezequiel Silva got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cleiton de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton de Almeida in the 63rd minute of play forced Derrubadinha's goalkeeper Walmyr Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Peixoto having to make a save. Walmyr Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
