Zé Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Víktor Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 minutes, Kiko Matorin made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Dallas Rioverdense's Augusto Hames tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kiko Matorin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Augusto Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarulhos FC. With a little luck, F.C Dallas Rioverdense's Augusto Hames got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Guarulhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Tande. When Fiori Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C Dallas Rioverdense's protests and gave Fiori Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C Dallas Rioverdense fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Marcelo Simão shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Matorin in the 25th minute of play forced F.C Dallas Rioverdense's goalkeeper Augusto Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Carlos Augusto Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Hames. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Guarulhos FC. Marcelo Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Hames. 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Guarulhos FC's Kiko Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Hames narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Víktor Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Hames having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, F.C Dallas Rioverdense's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Matorin came free, but Augusto Hames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guarulhos FC's Dalmo Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, F.C Dallas Rioverdense's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Varela came free, but Augusto Hames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Hames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Matorin in the 52nd minute of the match. Anselmo Bertassi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Augusto Hames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Hames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Augusto Hames stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Matorin's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the F.C Dallas Rioverdense defense, Víktor Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Hames. The F.C Dallas Rioverdense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Hames should have stopped the shot. When Guarulhos FC's Kiko Matorin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Augusto Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Dalmo Tande had to leave the field with a concussion. During the 85th minute of the match Zé Ribeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zé Ribeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Guarulhos FC's Rubinho Vaz was substituted for Dalmo Tande. Zé Ribeiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Guarulhos FC's Rubinho Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Hames didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Gustavo Varela went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Augusto Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match Guarulhos FC got a corner. F.C Dallas Rioverdense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Simão ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Anselmo Bertassi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C Dallas Rioverdense's Augusto Hames did a great save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guarulhos FC fully deserved thier win.
