Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrianinho Lira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Boacu's Augusto Saraiva got a free kick in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Inácio Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durvalino Paraíba. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Maia got free with Durvalino Paraíba in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natanael Fernandez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Boacu's Magno Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Magno Maia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Iuru FC's Durvalino Paraíba. Durvalino Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrianinho Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Bastos having to interfere. Boacu's Magno Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Boacu booed when Iuru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrianinho Lira struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Hílton Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iuru FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Inácio Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Inácio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Paraíba having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Boacu's Magno Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durvalino Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Durvalino Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Maia in the 61st minute of the match. Boacu's Hílton Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Lira in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Iuru FC got a corner. Boacu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Eduardo Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luís Eduardo Rocha made a great header on Iuru FC's corner, it was just that Boacu's Hílton Bastos managed to reach the ball for a save. Hílton Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Hílton Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Lira in the 67th minute of the match. Inácio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Gaspar's late challenge caught a Boacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Amorim took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durvalino Paraíba. Durvalino Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Nico Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Bastos having to interfere. With a little luck, Boacu's Hílton Bastos got control of the ball when Chicão Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hílton Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Iuru FC's Alex Gaspar got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Alex Gaspar off the ground. Alex Gaspar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Boacu got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Carneiro. Boacu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Iuru FC for a fine match.
