Coronzo's Gil de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílton Cardoso in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Valadares saved Golabeira from getting behind. In the 24th match minute, Coronzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Diguinho Mello throw himself and got hold of the ball when Angelo Aguiar in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 26th minute, Alexsandro Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Valadares having to interfere. Amílton Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arí Valadares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílton Cardoso in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Valadares saved Golabeira from getting behind. Diguinho Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Aguiar in the 40th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Golabeira got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Cabral. 47 minutes into the match, Golabeira's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Cardoso came free, but Arí Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arí Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil de Souza in the 54th minute. Angelo Aguiar took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diguinho Mello. Diguinho Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Diguinho Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Azevedo in the 63rd minute of the match. If Angelo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fabiano Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Coronzo's Amílton Cardoso in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golabeira's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Golabeira's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Cardoso came free, but Arí Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Golabeira's Arí Valadares got control of the ball when Gil de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anderson Prata hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Gil de Souza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arí Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílton Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
