If Norberto Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Blessed Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dino Zanette hit a great ball. Edinho Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Sampaio in the 24th minute. Betinho de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
