The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Menendo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. In the 6th minute, Otávio Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otávio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pirizal SC's Sidney Teixeira got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Correia in the 26th minute of play forced Olivenca AD's goalkeeper Hernani Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Olivenca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto França to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Olivenca AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pirizal SC:s goal. Sidney Teixeira's late challenge caught a Olivenca AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pirizal SC's Sidney Teixeira got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Olivenca AD's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Correia came free, but Hernani Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Pirizal SC's Jonathan Menendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernani Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jonathan Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Queiroz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Otávio Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernani Queiroz was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

During the 52nd minute of the match Sidney Teixeira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sidney Teixeira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Elói Galvão took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernani Queiroz. Hernani Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Otávio Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elói Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Queiroz having to interfere. Otávio Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elói Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Menendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Queiroz having to make a save. Hernani Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Correia in the 67th minute of the match. Cristiano Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Queiroz having to interfere. Jonathan Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Olivenca AD booed when Pirizal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernani Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Rosa's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Arnaldo Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Otávio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Queiroz having to interfere. Pirizal SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
